·      One year training in the US Naval Medical Research Unit-3 (NAMRU-3) Laboratories, Cairo Egypt, on different immunological and molecular biological techniques.

·      Three month training in Dr. SM Phillips Lab., Allergy and Immunology Division, School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania, USA, on different immunological and molecular biological techniques including cell culture, ELISPOT, Flow Cytometery, RT-PCR and In-Situ Hybridization.

·      Contributed in organizing of the workshop titled “The Development of more Effective Vaccines against Tuberculosis” held at Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, 21-23 October, 2002.

·     Contributed in organizing of  “The 7th Annual Conference of Immunology” held at Ain Al-Shukna, Egypt, 24-26 January, 2002.

·     Contributed in organizing and teaching in the workshop titled “Egyptian International Workshop in The Induction, Measurement and Manipulation of Immune Response” held at Hurghada and Cairo, Egypt, September 24 - October 6, 1999.

·      Contributed in organizing of “The 5th Annual Conference of Immunology” held at Hurghada, Egypt, 24-25 September, 1999.
